BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Montgomery County Community College jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and held on for a 2-1 victory over the Spartans on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mustangs, who only managed 3 shots on goal, took advantage of their opportunities, putting NCC in an early hole.
Julio Isidoro put Northampton on the board right before haltime with a lazer off his right foot, to close the gap to 2-1, but the Spartans would get no closer.
The Spartans, who outshot Montgomery 13-3, fall to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the EPCC.
Northampton hosts the Community College of Philadelphia on Thursday at 4pm.
