BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC women's volleyball team improved to 7-5 overall and 6-3 in conference with a tri-match sweep of Luzerne County Community College and the County College of Morris on Monday night.
The Spartans recorded 23 team aces in their 25-13, 25-9, 25-17 victory over Luzerne, as Marissa Burns notched 18 assists and
Amanda Lynch added 5 kills, 8 aces and 6 digs.
Rebecca Rojas had 5 kills and
Karla Diekman added 6 as Northampton defeated the County College of Morris, 25-11, 25-14. Sophomore Bethany Chamberlin added 4 kills and 10 digs in the victory.
The Spartans travel to NJCAA Region XIX foe, Harcum College, on October 1st. Game time has been changed to 7:00pm.
