PARAMUS, NJ - Bergen County College rallied to take the decisive fifth game and earn a 3-2 victory over the NCC women's volleyball team in a hard-fought Regional contest on Saturday.

Bergen jumped out 2-0 with 25-21 and 25-15 victories, but the Spartans responded by taking game three, 25-19 and game four, 25-22, setting up the decisive fifth game.  The teams went back and forth in the 15-point, win by 2 affair, before Bergen eventually earned the victory with the 19-17 result.

"It was a great match," remarked Head Coach Missy Lynn, "while I hate to lose, it was a really well played, competitive college volleyball match."

Courtney Rice had 12 kills and 21 digs, Emily Canfield recorded 10 kills and 8 blocks and Shanna Hoben added 5 kills and 9 aces for NCC.

The Spartans, now 6-3 in Region XIX, travel to Manor College on October 18th for their next conference match.
