MYRTLE BEACH, SC - In game two of their spring training trip, the NCC Spartan Baseball team lost their first game of the season, falling 10-2 to NJCAA Division II Lakeland Community College (Ohio).

Billy Turner was 1 for 2 with a double, Joey Bamford was 2 for 4 and Greg Kolaronda continued to swing a hot bat, finishing 1-3 for a double, after his 4 for 4 performance earlier in the day vs. Westmoreland.

Freshman Demetri Christofes (0-1) took the loss on the mound for NCC.

The Spartans return to action on Monday morning when they face Dutchess Community College (NY) at 9:00am.
