MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The NCC Baseball team fell to 1-4 on the season, falling to NJCAA Division II Mercer County College (NJ), 13-1, on Wednesday morning in Myrtle Beach.

Joey Bamford was 3 for 3 and Eric Bohem was 1 for 2 with a run scored to lead Northampton.

The Spartans trailed 3-1 heading into the 5th inning before Mercer plated 10 runs to take a commanding 13-1 lead.

Eric Thorpe (1-1) took the loss for the Spartans.

NCC  is scheduled to return to action vs. Lackawanna College later today.
