BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After a 0-1-1 start to their season, the NCC men's soccer team enjoyed an off-day during the Labor Day holiday and will return to action tonight with a practice session at 3:45pm.
"We will be looking at some new alignments as we get to know our personnel and our strengths and weaknesses," commented Head Coach Ned Yelovich, "obviously when you have the 10th ranked team in the country coming to visit you on Thursday, you don't want to making wholesale changes at that point."
In referencing the 10th ranked team in the nation, Coach Yelovich was referring to the County College of Morris, which visits the Spartans on Thursday in a Region XIX showdown at 4:00pm. The Titans, who finished the 2009 season with a 16-3-0 record, are currently 1-1 after defeating Tompkins-Cortland Community College 2-1 and falling in overtime to perennial national powerhouse Herkimer County Community College, 4-3.
