RANDOLPH, NJ - The NCC women's volleyball remained undefeated with a 3-1 (26-28, 25-14, 25-21, 25-23) victory over NJCAA Division II County College of Morris on Tuesday evening.
Meghan Granite registered 10 kills, 6 digs and
Courtney Rice added 6 kills and 12 digs for the nationally-ranked Spartans.
"It was not our best effort of the year," echoed Head Coach
Adrian Yaguez, "but I will take it ... overall it was a good road victory over a quality Division II opponent. We need to get back to the basics tomorrow at practice."
Kelly Yagerhofer added 7 kills and 16 digs and setter
Halie Cintron finished with 7 kills and 21 assists.
NCC improves to 10-0 overall (7-0 in Region XIX) with the victory.
Morris drops to 5-6 overall.
Northampton returns to action on Thursday when they travel to Bergen Community College for a crucial Division III matchup.
