BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sussex County Community College improved to 4-2-0 overall and 2-2-0 in Region XIX with a 3-0 victory over Northampton on Thursday afternoon.

Tom Hasty opened the scoring for the Skylanders at the 16:29 mark and Mohamet Ba made it 2-0 with a goal with less than two minutes remaining before the half.

Mycael Jenson added an insurance goal 7 minutes into the second half to make it 3-0 Sussex and goalkeeper Casey Campbell did the rest, shutting out the Spartans.

"We never really got into a flow today," remarked Head Coach Ned Yelovich, "we are struggling to connect and we continue to have defensive lapses."

The Spartans fall to 1-5-1 overall and 1-4-1 in Region XIX.

NCC travels to defending Region XIX champion County College of Morris on Sunday.
