BETHLEHEM, Pa. - 110 minutes of soccer couldn't decide a winner as Northampton and Bucks County Community College battled to a 0-0 tie in Region XIX / EPAC play on Thursday afternoon.

In what became a battle of the goaltenders, Bucks County's Michael Klimonicz (9 saves) and Northampton's Ronnie Mendizabal (14 saves) traded  save for save, with both goalkeepers making exceptional stops to keep the match scoreless. 

"We had a number of chances," lamented NCC Head Coach Joe Heitczman, "but we just couldn't find the back of the net ... but credit Klimonicz, he really played well for Bucks, as did Ronnie for us.  Overall it was a well played collegiate soccer game."

NCC moves to 1-2-3 overall and 1-0-3 in Region XIX / EPAC play.

The Spartans return to action on Saturday with a non-conference matchup at Ocean County College.
