Spartans and Mustangs Battle to 0-0 Tie

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC men's soccer team earned their second draw in as many matches with a 0-0 tie vs. visiting Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday afternoon. 

NCC goalkeeper Ronnie Mendizabal turned away 13 shots to earn his first collegiate shutout, as Montgomery outshot Northampton, 13-8. 

"I thought we really improved our quality of play from the first game to today," commented Head Coach Joe Heitczman, "I think the guys are starting to feel more comfortable with each other and are stating to adapt to our system of play."

The Spartans, now 0-0-2 overall, host County College of Morris on Thursday at 3:30pm.

Montgomery moves to 0-0-1.
