PARAMUS, NJ -
Meghan Conrad was victorious at number one singles to help lead Northampton to a 5-4 victory over Bergen Community College on Tuesday afternoon in Region XIX women's tennis action.
Conrad and doubles partner
Allison Potter were defeated by Bergen's Tello and Canal, 6-8, while
Krista Maue and
Shelby Toth defeated Perez and Perez 8-4. The Spartans forfeited the #3 doubles match.
Potter joined Conrad in the win column, defeating A. Guzman 6-0, 6-1, while
Krista Maue fell to I. Canal 2-6, 0-6 at #3 singles. Toth continued her outstanding season at #4 singles, downing D. Perez 6-4, 6-2 and
Natalie Qammaz was victorious at #5 singles, 6-0, 6-0. The Spartans forfeited at #6 singles.

The win moves Northampton to 3-5 in their inaugural season of women's tennis, while Bergen falls to 1-9.
The Spartans host Bucks County Community College on Thursday at 4pm. NCC defeated Bucks, 7-2, on September 21st.
