BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton baseball team improved to 9-4 overall with a doubleheader sweep of Onondaga Community College (NY) on Saturday afternoon.
In game one,
Cody Klinger (3-1) won his 3rd start of the season, going 7 innings allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 8 and walking one.
Mike Augoto was 1 for 2 with a RBI single in the 2nd inning, and
Tyler Duplaga had the go-ahead RBI in the 5th on a single that scored
Colby Kulig, who had singled to lead off the inning.

In Game Two,
Kyle Farnholtz (3-2) went the distance, allowing 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 4 to earn the victory, as Northampton prevailed 10-2.
Jake Chamberlain,
Preston Koehler and
Tyler Duplaga each went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI to pace the Northampton offense, which exploded for 10 runs in the 5th and 6th innings.
"We finally had a little zip in our bats," remarked Head Coach
Adrian Yaguez, "it took us a few innings, but we strung together some hits and were able to capitalize and score some runs."
