BETHLEHEM, Pa. -
Bobby Reddick (2-0) earned the victory in relief, shutting the door on an Onondaga rally in the 5th inning, striking out 8 of the final 12 batters he faced as Northampton completed a three game sweep of Onondaga Community College with a 4-3 victory on Sunday.
Tyler Duplaga was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI and
Tyler Ruoss added a 2-run single in the 3rd inning to open the scoring for NCC.
Michael Agosto led off the 7th with a single to left and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from
Nick Todero. Duplaga then roped a double to right center to score Agosto with what proved to be the winning run.
The victory vaults Northampton to 10-4 overall, while Onondaga falls to 8-6.
The Spartans are scheduled to open conference play on Tuesday when they host Bucks County Community College at 3:30pm.
