BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Cumberland County College on Saturday afternoon, managing only 6 hits on the day, as they fell 10-1 in the opener and 3-0 in the nightcap.
With the score tied 1-1 in the top of the 6th inning, the Spartans committed 3 errors which opened the flood gates for 9 unanswered runs as the Dukes took a 10-1 victory.
Cody Klinger (3-2) took the loss, going 5 1/3 innings allowing 5 hits and striking out 6.
Nick Todero was 2 for 3 with a double and run and Mike Agosto was 1 for 2 with a RBI single that scored Todero for NCC's only run.
