Preston Koehler's RBI double scored
Tyler Ruoss with what proved to be the winning run as Northampton rallied from a 3-1 deficit to earn a 4-3 victory on Saturday afternoon in game one of a Region XIX doubleheader.
Trailing 3-1 heading into the top of the 7th,
DJ Williams walked and
Tyler Duplaga (2 for 3, 2 runs scored) singled, moving Williams to second. A double steal advanced Williams to third base and Duplaga to second.
Jon DeJesus (1 for 3, 3 RBI) then ripped a double to right field, scoring Williams and Duplaga and setting the stage for Koehler.
Kyle Farnholtz (4-3) earned the win, throwing a complete game allowing 7 hits and 3 runs while fanning 4.

Bobby Reddick (3-0) earned the victory, going 5 innings, allowing 1 hit and 0 runs while striking out 10.
Tommy Agosta came on in relief and didn't allow a hit over the final two innings to close out the 7-0 victory.
DJ Williams was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and
Preston Koehler was 3 for 3 to pace NCC.
