County College of Morris Tops Spartans

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The County College of Morris improved to 7-3-1 overall with an 8-0 victory over Northampton in Region XIX men's soccer on Tuesday afternoon.

The Titans jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead and added four goals in the second half as they outshot the Spartans 22-2. Zach Fuls had 14 saves for Northampton, which fell to 2-9-0 with the loss.

"Morris was without question the best team we have faced this year," commented Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "they are skilled, physical and quick ... and they have tremendous depth."

The Spartans hit the road on Thursday as they travel to Sussex County Community College to face the Skylanders at 3:30pm.
