Skylanders Handle Spartans in Men's Soccer

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sussex County Community College scored 6 first half goals and cruised to a 9-0 victory in Region XIX men's soccer action on Thursday afternoon.

Zach Fuls made 10 saves for the Spartans, who were outshot 26 to 4.  "We had a few lapses on defense," commented Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "credit Sussex, they were able to exploit some mismatches and utilize their overall team speed to put us at a disadvantage."

Northampton, which falls to 2-10-0, will wrap up the regular season on Saturday when they travel to Schnecksville, PA to face Lehigh Carbon Community College at 12pm.

Sussex improves to 11-3-0.
