Men's Soccer Downs Lehigh Carbon 4-0 in Season Finale

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - The Northampton men's soccer team closed out the 2014 season with a 4-0 victory over Lehigh Carbon Community College on Saturday afternoon.

All-EPAC selection Brian Garcia scored 2 goals, Aaron Guerra had a goal and an assist and Josh Houck added a goal and an assist as the Spartans tied their season-high for goals in a game. "Great way to end the season," commented Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "I'm really proud of how the guys played today and how they stayed focused to close out the season."

Zach Fuls made 8 saves as the Spartans recorded their first shut out of the season.

Northampton finishes the 2014 season with an overall record of 3-10-0.

Lehigh Carbon falls to 3-11-1.
