Women's Tennis Upset by Bucks County in Season Finale

NEWTOWN, Pa. - The Northampton women's tennis team was upset by Bucks County Community College on Monday afternoon in the regular season finale, 6-3.

The Spartans, who defeated Bucks 8-1 on September 5th, never got on track dropping two of three doubles matches and four of six singles matches. "Give Bucks credit," commented Head Coach Megan Groh, "they came ready to play and took it to us today."

The Spartans finish the regular season with a record of 7-3 and now await the seeding for the upcoming Region XIX tournament which begins on Saturday October 11th.
