BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Brookdale Community College, the four-time defending Region XIX champions, proved to be too strong for Northampton, downing the Spartans 28-7 on Sunday in a Region XIX men's lacrosse matchup.

Northampton trailed 13-6 at halftime, but the Jersey Blues outscored them 15-1 in the second half to earn the victory.

Zach Hardy scored 2 goals, Ryan Trimmer had 2 goals, Travis Hartranft added a goal and 2 assists and J.R. Corlette had a goal and an assist to lead the Spartan offense.  Anthony Pellicciotti made 14 saves between the pipes for NCC.

Northampton, which falls to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in Region XIX, returns to action on April 16th when they travel to Moravian College to face the Greyhound Club team at 7pm.
