NEW YORK, NY - ASA jumped out to a 14-1 halftime lead and then cruised to a 22-5 victory over Northampton in a NJCAA men's lacrosse match-up on Sunday afternoon at Aviator Park.
"We were simply unable to match their tenacity and athleticism in the first half," stated Head Coach
Joe Lodato, "we played well in spurts, but couldn't string together quality possessions to capitalize on their penalities."
Cameron James (Hawley, PA/Wallenpaupack) had 17 saves,
Alec Lloyd (York, PA/York Catholic) had 2 goals and 2 assists and
Missiah Mason (Philadelphia, PA /Northeast) recorded 11 ground balls to pace the Spartans.
