BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton men's lacrosse team closed out the 2016 season with a dominating 20-10 victory over Valley Forge Military College on Wednesday afternoon, earning their second Region XIX victory in the last three games.
JR Corlette (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom ) scored 8 goals and assisted on two others and
Mark Moser (Easton, PA /Easton ) had 7 goals and 1 assist to pace the Spartan offense, while goalkeeper
Cameron James (Hawley, PA/Wallenpaupack) came up big once again, making 19 saves.
The 20 goals scored is a school record, breaking the previous mark of 18 set vs. the County College of Morris on April 9th, 2014.
The Spartans finish the season 2-8 overall and 2-4 in Region XIX under first year Head Coach
Joe Lodato, missing the Region XIX playoffs by one game.
