HARRISBURG, Pa. - The offenisve woes continued for the Northampton men's soccer team, as they were shut-out for the second consecutive contest, falling 2-0 to Harrisburg Area Community College on Saturday.
The Spartans, who scored 5 goals in their first two games of the season, have not been able to find the back of the net the in the last two contests, "It's not due to a lack of effort," remarked Head Coach
Brennan McCarthy, "the guys are playing hard ... the effort is there, we're just not executing real well right now."
Zach Fuls made 17 saves to keep NCC in the game, while Kyle Schory and Damian Kingsborough each scored for the Hawks.
Northampton, 1-3-0, returns to action on September 18th when they travel to Newtown, PA to face Bucks County Community College in a make-up of their September 9th contest which was postponed due to field issues at Bucks.
