BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton closed out the regular season on Tuesday afternoon with a 15-3 victory over Division II Valley Forge Military College to finish with an overall record of 22-16.

Zach Werner (East Stroudsburg, PA /E. Stroudsburg South ) notched his 6th win of the season, throwing 4 innings, allowing no runs, 1 hit and striking out 5.  Jakob Pacheco (Emmaus, PA /Emmaus ) finished 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored, a stolen base and a RBI, Roanderson Severino (Reading, PA /Reading Area ) was 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored, 2 doubles and 3 RBI and Josh McClain (Tunkhannock, PA /Tunkhannock ) was 2 for 5 with a double and 4 RBI.

Northampton scored 14 runs in the first three innings and then coasted to the 15-3 victory.

The Spartans now await the Region XIX Tournament seeding, which will take place on Thursday morning.  The Regional Tournament will open on Saturday with best of three series taking place at four sites.
