TOMS RIVER, NJ - After opening the season on Friday afternoon with a loss to the defending national champions from Rowan-Gloucester, the Northampton women's tennis team rebounded with an 7-2 victory over Ocean County College on Saturday.
Valeria Ceron (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom ) was victorious at #1 singles and teamed with
Emily Moss (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) to win at #1 doubles as the Spartans swept the doubles competition and four of the six singles matches.Â

#2 doubles - Caffrety and Kaur (N) defeated Kawa and Brantly (O) 8-2
#3 doubles - Borger and Mass (N) forfeit win

Northampton, now 1-1 overall, travels to Newtown, PA on Tuesday to face Bucks County Community College at 3:30pm.Â
