TOMS RIVER, NJ - Forced indoors due to inclement weather, the Northampton women's tennis team fell to Ocean County College on Saturday afternoon, 6-3, in a hard fought match.
The Spartans were victorious at the top of the lineup, winning at #1 singles, as
Erin Volutza (Sinking Spring, PA /Lancaster Catholic ) finished the regular season unbeaten, #2 singles with
Mackenzie Caffrey (Easton, PA /Pleasant Valley) and #1 doubles (Volutza and Caffrey), but the Vikings were able to pull out 6 wins to get the victory.
