MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The Northampton Baseball team picked up two more victories on Monday, remaining perfect on their spring trip to the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.
GAME ONEThe Spartans overcame giving up 4 runs in the top of the 1st inning, holding the College of Southern Maryland scoreless over the next 6 innings, while scoring 10 runs to earn a 10-4 victory.
Kyle Arganbright (York, PA/Hempfield ) earned the victory, going 4.1 innings, allowing 4 hits, 4 runs (0 earned), while striking out 7.
Colton Hooker (Warrington, PA/Upper Moreland ) hit a grand slam,
Kyle Buchman (Orefield, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) was 1 for 1 with 2 stolen bases and
Zane Vargason (Milan, PA/Athens Area ) was 1 for 2 with a run scored.

GAME TWOIn game two, the Spartans once again battled Finger Lakes Community College (NY) from Region 3, earning a hard-fought 4-3 victory.
Tristan James (Towanda, PA/Towanda Area) came on in relief of starter
John Bowman (Canton, PA/Canton Area) and earned the win, going 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run, 2 hits and striking out 6.
Collin McGeary (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic ) was 2 for 3 with a homerun and 3 RBI, while
Jake Lisinicchia (Easton, PA/Easton ) was 2 for3 with a double and
Franklin Ramirez (Reading, PA/Berks Catholic) had a triple and a RBI.
