TOMS RIVER, NJ - The Northampton men's lacrosse team dropped their Region XIX opener to Ocean County College on Saturday, falling 23-0 to the Vikings, at OCC Stadium.
"We were not able to match their speed," remarked Head Coach
Joe Lodato, "they are well-coached and very talented ... we will continue to work at practice and prepare for our next opponent."
Cameron James (Hawley, PA/Wallenpaupack) had 13 saves for the Spartans.
Northampton, now 0-2 overall and 0-1 in Region XIX, travel to Williamson Trade (Media, PA) on March 30th to face the Mechanics at 6:45pm
Ocean improves to 4-3 overall.
