BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Despite high winds and frigid temperatures, the Northampton Baseball team dominated in all phases of the game in sweeping CCBC-Dundalk in a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon at Spartan Park. The Spartans had 22 hits in the doubleheader, while only allowing 3 hits and giving up no runs.
GAME ONEIn game one,
Tyler Forbes (Athens, PA/Athens Area ) improved to 3-0, throwing 4 innings of 1-hit ball, allowing no runs while striking out 6.
Brendon Caraway (Riegelsville, PA/Palisades) came on in relief and threw 3 innings of no-hit ball, allowing no runs and striking out 6.
Jake Pacheco (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus) broke open a 4-0 game with bases loaded double with two outs in the bottom of the 3rd, knocking in 3 runs.
Collin McGeary (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic ) finished 2 for 4 with two doubles and 4 RBI,
Jake Lisinicchia (Easton, PA/Easton ) was 2 for 2 with 3 RBI and
Colton Hooker (Warrington, PA/Upper Moreland ) was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored.

Walt Roland (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) earned the win, striking out 7 in 5 innings of work, allowing 1 hit and no runs, improving to 3-0 on the season.
Tyler Caraway (Riegelsville, PA/Palisades ) pitched the final two innings, striking out 4 and allowing no runs. Lisinicchia was 3 for 3 with 3 RBI, Hooker was 2 for 3 with a double and one RBI, McGeary was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI and
Ryan Nazario (East Stroudsburg, PA/East Stroudsburg South ) went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored.
