BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Head Coach Brennan McCarthy has released the Northampton Men's Soccer Schedule for 2016, which includes 7 matches at home and 7 on the road.  The Spartans will open the 2016 campaign on Thursday September 1st when they host EPAC foe Valley Forge Military College. 

Northampton had a breakthough season in 2015 under McCarthy, finishing with an 11-5-0 record, including an upset of Union County College in the Region XIX playoffs before falling to nationally-ranked Bergen Community College in the Regional semi-finals. The Spartans also earned a share of the EPAC regular-season championship, finishing in a three-way tie for the title with Montgomery and Bucks at 10-2-0. 

The 2016 schedule includes two opponents from the Garden State Athletic Conference; at Sussex County Community College on September 29th and Middlesex County College on October 15th at home.  The remainder of the Spartan's schedule (12 games) are conference games.  "We are really hoping to use the momentum from last season to help propel us to the next level," commented McCarthy, "we need to have another solid season to prove that we are among the top teams in the Region."
