BLACKWOOD, NJ - The Northampton women's basketball team opened up their 2017-18 Region XIX schedule with a 75-55 loss to Camden County College on Saturday afternoon.
Poor shooting once again plagued the Spartans, as they only managed to convert on 32% of their field goal attempts (22 of 68).
Dom Moser (Easton, Pa./Easton ) led the Spartans with 29 points and 13 rebounds, while
Krista Cappetta (Nazareth, Pa/Nazareth) and
Lamani Bruce (Bath, Pa. /Northampton ) each added 13 points.
The Cougars led 42-32 at the half and outscored the Spartans 33-23 in the second half to remain undefeated (4-0) in Region XIX.
The Spartans (1-4 overall) are back in action on November 16th when they travel to the Cougar Dome to face Lehigh Carbon Community College at 5:00pm.
