BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After dropping their first match of the season on Saturday at RCGC, the 6th ranked Northampton Women's Tennis team bounced back with an 8-1 victory on Sunday over Ocean County College at Northwood Racquet Club. 

In a match that was much closer than the score would indicate, the Spartans took five of six singles matches and all three doubles matches to earn the victory. 

Doubles
1.  Elise Van Ormer (Macungie, PA/Emmaus) and Corrine Hinton (Easton, PA /Easton ) vs Logan Squires and Meghan Hargis - Northampton 8-4
2.  Julie Espinosa (Allentown, PA /Dieruff ) and Brooke Schlough (Easton, PA /Easton ) vs Jackie Elliot and Rachel Hess - Northampton 9-8 (7-4)
3.  Caleigh Savage (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) and Alyssa Rosario (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty ) vs Alexis Banfield and Ashley Tallman - Northampton 8-6

The Spartans, now 4-1 overall, return to action on September 23rd when they travel to Lincroft, NJ to face Brookdale at 12:00pm
