BETHLEHEM, Pa. -
Dom Moser (Easton, Pa./Easton ) scored 32 points, including her 1000th career point, to help lead the Northampton women's basketball team to an 87-24 victory over Bucks County Community College on Saturday afternoon at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
Moser's 3-pointer early in the 3rd quarter gave her an even 1000 points during her time as a Spartan, as she became the only female, and just second player ever, in school history to top the 1000 point milestone.
Jada Holland (Laurel, MD/Springbrook (MD)) finished with 15 points and 16 rebounds, while
Laura Sweger (Elizabethville, Pa./Upper Dauphin ) added 16 points and 10 rebounds for Northampton.
The Spartans shot 43% for the game, while holding Bucks to just 9 of 61 from the field (15%).
Nicole Robinson (Bangor, Pa./Bangor ) chipped with 9 points and 12 rebounds,
Krista Cappetta (Nazareth, Pa/Nazareth) had 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals, while Moser also added 12 boards, 6 assists and 4 steals.
Northampton improves to 15-6 overall, 11-2 in Region XIX and a perfect 10-0 in conference play, as the Spartans wrap-up their 6th straight EPAC title.
Bucks falls to 2-17 overall, 2-13 in Region XIX and 2-8 in conference play.
The Spartans travel to Newton, NJ on Tuesday to face Sussex County Community College ... game time is 7pm.
