PEMBERTON, NJ - After a disappointing doubleheader loss to 2nd ranked Cumberland on Sunday, the Northampton Baseball team bounced back with a convincing 12-3 victory over NJCAA Division II Rowan College at Burlington County on Monday afternoon at Baron Stadium, to earn their 20th win of the season.
Noah Weber (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin) went the distance on the mound, throwing a complete game 6-hitter, allowing 3 runs (2 earned), striking out 2 and walking none. The complete game gem improved Weber to 5-2 on the season.
The bats came back to life on Monday, as the Spartans pounded out 18 hits, led by a 5 for 5 effort from
Henry Peguero (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing), which included a double and 2 RBI.
CJ Peechatka (Henryville, PA/Pocono Mt. East ) finished 3 for 6 with 2 triples and a stolen base,
Corey Stouffer (Souderton, PA/North Penn) was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI,
Tyler Melko (Knoxville, PA/Cowanesque Valley) went 2 for 4 with a RBI and
Tommy Dunleavy (Bushkill, PA/East Stroudsburg North) ripped 3 hits, including a triple to lead the offensive onslaught.

Adrian Yaguez, the 20 wins marks the 8th time in 10 seasons that the veteran skipper has achieved that milestone while leading the Spartans.
Northampton, now 20-10 overall, will host Luzerne County Community College on Tuesday in a 9-inning match-up at 3:30pm.
