GREENEVILLE, TN - After waiting out an almost 7-hour rain delay, the Northampton Spartans and Oakton Owls finally kicked off the 2018 NJCAA Division III World Series on Saturday at Pioneer Park. 

The Owls got on the board early, scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st and never relinquished the lead, earning a 12-7 victory.

The 5th seeded Spartans (34-14) will face the loser of #1 Herkimer (NY) vs. #8 Rockingham (NC) on Sunday morning, game time is still pending.
