BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team rebounded from an 0-2 weekend with a convincing 25-17, 25-22, 25-22 sweep of NJCAA Division II Harcum College on Tuesday at the Kelly Center.
Madelyn Deloglos (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) recorded 6 kills and 5 aces,
Abby Orth (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) added 7 aces and 11 digs,
Bridget Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) had 6 kills and 7 digs and
Amber Werley (Bath, PA /Northampton ) finished with 6 kills as the Spartans swept the Bears after falling to Northern Virginia and Nassau Community College on Saturday in Long Island.
"I was really pleased with how we reacted tonight." commented veteran mentor
Adrian Yaguez, "it's been awhile since we had lost two matches like that, so I was very curious to how the girls would react, but they came out ready to play."
Savannah Jordan registered 17 assists and had 7 digs and
Sarah DiGrazia (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) had 3 kills as the Spartans improved to 3-2 overall.
The Spartans are now off until Saturday when they will travel to Dover, DE to face NJCAA Division II Del Tech-Terry at noon.
