BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team remained perfect in Region XIX play, downing Lehigh Carbon Community College, 25-13, 25-15, 25-15 on Thursday night at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
Bridget Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) recorded 5 kills, 5 aces and 10 digs,
Sarah DiGrazia (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) had 4 kills,
Caisey Kroschwitz (Bath, PA /Bethlehem Catholic) notched 16 digs and
Abby Orth (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) was credited with 2 aces, 3 kills and 8 digs to lead the Spartans.
"Solid win tonight," explained Head Coach
Adrian Yaguez, "I don't think we were particularly sharp tonight, but we were able to get the job done and pick-up the win."
The Spartans, now 3-0 in Region XIX play, improved to 5-3 overall.
Lehigh Carbon falls to 6-5 overall and 3-5 in the Region.
Northampton, winners of 94 straight Region XIX DIII matches, host Ocean County College on Saturday September 22nd at noon.
