BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's tennis team opened the 2018 campaign with a dominating 8-1 victory over Lackawanna College on Saturday at the Northwood Racquet Club.  The Spartans swept all six singles matches, including two thrilling three set victories by Caleigh Savage (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) and Alyssa Kapcsos (Bethlehem, PA /Freedom ). 

Results - SINGLES

2. Rebecca Packo (Bethlehem, PA /Freedom ) (N) over Mary Huffman (L) 6-4, 6-2
3.  Caleigh Savage (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) (N) over Jamie Greenfield (L) 3-6, 6-2, 10-6
4.  Sydney Schmall (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) (N) over Kayla Regan (L)  6-1, 6-2

The match scheduled for Sunday vs. Bucks has been postponed, no makeup date has been set.
