BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team evened their overall season record at 9-9 with a convincing 71-39 victory over Montgomery County Community College on Thursday evening at the Spartan Center. 
All eight Spartans scored as Northampton jumped out to a commanding 34-14 halftime lead and cruised to the victory. 
"Tonight was a big win for us," remarked Head Coach 
Alyssa Bonenberger, "we are continuing to push to make the Regional playoffs ... the girls have really been playing well lately, hopefully we can continue it down the stretch."
Kelsey Miller (Phillipsburg, NJ/Phillipsburg (NJ)) led the Spartans with 20 points, while 
Ashley Robinson (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg South) finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists.
Briona McClain (Stroudsburg, PA /Pocono Mt. West ) rounded out the scorers in double-figures with 12, while 
Briana Petersen (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg North ) added 9 points and 11 boards.
Northampton, 9-9 overall, improves to 2-7 in the Region and 1-2 in conference play. 
Montgomery falls to 7-11 overall and 1-8 in Region XIX. 
The Spartans will look to continue their playoff push when they host Bergen Community College on Tuesday at 5pm.
