Hailey Druckenmiller (Orefield, PA/Parkland ) tossed a no-hitter in game one to help lead the Northampton Softball team to a sweep Montgomery County Community College in a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon at Mustang Field.
GAME ONE - Won 16-0

Sophia Iovino (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) double plating two runs in the top of the first.Â
Druckenmiller helped her cause at the plate, finishing 3 for 4 with 3 RBI, Iovino went 3 for 3 with 4 RBI and 4 runs scored and
Destiny Koppenhaver (Easton, PA/Commonwealth Charter )Â added 3 RBI to pace the Spartan offense.Â
GAME TWO - Won 19-1
The Spartan offense stayed hot in game two, scoring 11 runs in the 1st inning, highlighted by a
Maria Pezzino (Nazareth, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) double. Pezzino finished 1 for 2 with 2 RBI and 2 walks.Â
Madison Hendrickson (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI,
Alexa Fancera (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom)Â went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored and
Jackie Jones (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) added a stolen base and 3 runs scored to lead Northampton.Â
Emily Michael (Easton/Easton ) earned the win in the circle, allowing 1 run (0 earned) on 4 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1.Â
The doubleheader sweep improves Northampton to 5-8 overall, while Montgomery falls to 0-6.Â
The Spartans have a quick turnaround as they travel to Edison, NJ on Friday to face Middlesex County College. The two teams will finish their halted game from April 8th, with the Spartans leading 11-6 in the top of the 7th, then play their scheduled doubleheader.Â
