Box Score BLACKWOOD, NJ - The Northampton men's soccer team dropped a Region 19 contest on Thursday afternoon, falling to nationally-ranked Camden County College, 6-2.

"I'm really proud of how the guys played today," commented Head Coach Mario Barrantes, "I saw improvement in a number of areas, especially with our aggressiveness and communication.  Our fitness level is still not where it needs to be, but we are headed in the right direction."

The 3rd ranked Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 lead early in the first half before Hatungimana Salem (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty ) put a direct kick in the upper 90 from 20 yards out to cut the deficit to 3-1 at halftime.

The Cougars found the back of the net at the 75 minute mark to extend their lead back to 2 goals, at 4-2, and then added 2 more goals in the final 15 minutes to make the final margin 6-2.
