LARGO, MD - The Northampton women's basketball team dropped their second consecutive game on Saturday, falling 81-45 to #9 Prince George's Community College at Novak Field House.

The Spartans fell behind 44-25 at the half and never got on track, shooting only 21% from the field, including 1 for 12 from behind the arc. 

Zoe Cruz (Swiftwater, PA/Pocono Mt. East) led the Spartans with 14 point, while Shawneeta Simmons (Harrisburg, PA/Harrisburg-Sci Tech) added 12. 

14th ranked Northampton falls to 1-2 with the loss, while 9th ranked PGCC improves to 1-0. 

The Spartans are now off until November 10th when they return to the friendly confines of the Spartan Center to face the County College of Morris at 5pm.
