SCRANTON, Pa. - A poor shooting night cost Northampton in a non-conference matchup vs. NJCAA Division II Lackawanna College, as the Spartans fell 75-51 on Thursday evening at the Larson Center.
Northampton finished the game just 19 of 84 from the field (22.6%), while Lackawanna converted 43% of their attempts and forced the Spartans into 21 turnovers.
"I tip my hat to Lackawanna, they are a very talented team," stated Head Coach
Terrence Bomar, "I thought we had some stretches tonight where we looked pretty good, but we have to learn how to stay in 5th gear for 4 quarters."

Madison Kluska (Bangor, PA/Bangor) added 8 and
Xion Spence (Bushkill, PA/East Stroudsburg North) hauled down a game-high 20 rebounds.
The loss snaps Northampton's 4-game winning streak and drops them to 10-6 overall.
