BETHLEHEM, Pa. -
Anisha Sepulveda (Lancaster, PA/JP McCaskey) scored 20 points, had 8 steals and dished out 6 assists to help lead the Northampton women's basketball team past the Community College of Philadelphia, 59-51, on Thursday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
Layla Sweatte (Allentown, PA/William Allen) added 29 points and
Heaven Dubois (Lancaster, PA/JP McCaskey) hauled down 16 rebounds and blocked 8 shots to pace the Northampton attack.
The Spartans, who were forced to play with just six players due to injury, led just 42-41 after the 3rd quarter, but outscored the Lions 17-10 in the 4th to secure the victory.

Imaani Mata (Bethlehem, PA/Lehigh Valley Academy) added 2 points and 6 rebounds for the Spartans.
The win moves Northampton to 3-0 overall.
The Spartans continue their homestand on Saturday, when they are set to host Ocean County College at 12pm.
