CHARLOTTE, NC - Northampton's
Elijah Ejiofor (Gonesse, France/Pocono Mt. West) has been named the NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer Player of the Week, for the week of September 18th thru the 24th.
Ejiofor had 5 goals and 2 assists as the Spartans went 2-0-0 on the week, defeating Lehigh Carbon Community College, 9-0, and Ocean County College, 2-1.
Northampton is currently 5-1-1 on the season as they prepare to travel to unbeaten Sussex County Community College on Thursday September 26th.
Ejiofor, who is currently tied for 3rd in the country with 11 goals scored, becomes the first Northampton soccer player to earn National Player of the Week Honors.
