SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team ran out to a 44-17 halftime advantage and cruised to a 91-49 victory over Lehigh Carbon Community College on Tuesday evening at the Cougar Dome. 

All 10 Spartans in uniform scored at least 1 point as Northampton finished 36 of 88 from the floor, including a 10 for 23 performance from behind the arc. 

"Great team win today," commented Head Coach Carly Gallagher, "we had great energy today and were locked in for 40 minutes."

Anisha Sepulveda (Lancaster, PA/JP McCaskey) finished with 28 points, 6 assists and 6 steals, while Layla Sweatte (Allentown, PA/William Allen) added 15 points and 8 rebounds. 

Raquel Costache (East Stroudsburg, PA/East Stroudsburg North) scored 13 points and Kailen Felty (Pine Grove, PA/Pine Grove) chipped in with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

The win moves Northampton to 15-9 overall, 12-7 in Region 19 and 2-2 in the EPAC.

Lehigh Carbon falls to 3-21 overall, 2-16 in the Region and 0-4 in conference play. 

The Spartans are now 23-1 all-time vs. Lehigh Carbon. 

Northampton is off until Tuesday February 18th when they travel to Passaic County Community College in their regular season finale.
