BETHLEHEM, PA - Maxine Szulborski scattered nine hits while allowing two runs, striking out three and walking none en route to a 10-2 victory over Bergen County College in game one of a Region XIX doubleheader on Friday.  

Nicole Fleming and Laura Bartek each had three hits and Erin Keegan added 3 RBI's to pace the Spartan offense.  

In game two Heather Compton allowed only one run while limiting Bergen to only 4 hits in a 13-1 victory.  

The Spartans pounded out 14 hits, led by Casey Ord with four hits, while Tiffany Korbordo hit her third homerun in two days and collected 5 RBI's to lead NCC to their 9th Region XIX victory of the season.

Northampton, the 7th ranked team in the country, improves to 16-7 overall and 9-1 in Region XIX.  The Spartans will host Middlesex Community College on Monday at 3:30pm.
