BETHLEHEM, PA - Lindsay Frontino threw a complete game shutout, striking out 11 while only allowing only two hits, as Northampton defeated Middlesex County College, 6-0, in game one of a Region XIX doubleheader on Monday.

Tiffany Korbordo hit a 3-run homerun in the 5th inning to break the game open, while Katlyn Snyder added two hits.

In game two, defense was king on both sides as the game remained scoreless until the bottom of the third when Snyder drove in 2 runs to push her season total to 37.  

Erin Keegan improved to 6-2 on the year, allowing only run as the Spartans held on for a 4-1 victory.  

Danielle Navierra was 2-for-3 as Northampton improved to 18-7 overall and 11-1 in Region XIX.

The Spartans host Raritan Valley Community College at 3pm on Wednesday.
