BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton Community College women's volleyball team earned their first victory of the 2009 season, sweeping Bucks County Community College, 25-12, 25-19, 25-5 on Monday night.

Amanda Lynch recorded 6 kills and 10 aces, Marissa Burns had 18 assists and Rebecca Rojas added 10 kills for the Spartans, now 1-2 overall.

"It is good to finally get one," stated Head Coach Missy Lynn, "hopefully this will give us some momentum as we move forward."

The Spartans host Harrrisburg Area Community College on Wednesday night at 7pm.
