SCRANTON, Pa. - Lackawanna College swept the Spartans, 3-0,  in NJCAA volleyball action on Saturday, 25-19, 25-22, 25-21.

"The girls continue to improve," remarked Assistant Coach Jackie Sampson, "hopefully this will help us down the stretch in our conference games."

Sabrina Gonzalez recorded 14 digs and Courtney Rice added 4 kills and 13 digs for Northampton.

The Spartans, now 3-9 overall (2-2 Region XIX), host Union County College on October 5th.
